Housing Forum Keynote Speaker Announced

On February 22, 2018, Tom Rand will present the keynote to the leaders of the high performance building industry gathering to learn about being In The [K[Nnow at the Housing Innovation Forum & Awards.

The Forum & Awards – taking place at Universal EventSpace – is an annual conference shining a spotlight on new techniques, new products and new thinking. It will features a one-day conference of sessions on important topics in high performance building, from Net Zero to Climate Change Policy.

The Keynote speaker this year is Rand, Cleantech venture capitalist, Senior Advisor at the MaRS Discovery District, recent appointee to the Ontario Climate Action Group, and regular contributor to CBC’s On the Money.

Rand is also Managing Partner of ArcTern Ventures, and sits on the board of a number of clean energy companies and organizations.  He also developed Planet Traveler, a low-carbon hotel project in downtown Toronto.

Rand’s second book – Waking the Frog – became a bestseller in Spring 2014.
