Our Industry Builds Communities – #CdnBuilt
ENERQUALITY • May 23, 2017

Our industry has been building, developing and renovating homes from coast to coast for generations, and they know strong communities are not just about bricks and mortar, but about the people living in them.
Canadian Home Builders’ Association members are passionate about giving back to Canadians. Whether it’s through fundraisers, community-based charity activities, or countless other good-will initiatives, they are doing their part to make their neighbourhoods thrive.
Interested in how builders, developers and renovators have shaped Canada in the past, or how they’re building strong communities today?
In honour of Canada’s 150th birthday in 2017 and CHBA’s 75th anniversary in 2018, CHBA has launched #CdnBuilt for Generations, collecting member stories from across the country and featuring them on the CHBA website.
One of the first events featured is Project HOPE, from Doug Tarry Homes, a three-day build of a Net Zero Ready home.
Watch the #CdnBuilt for Generations video or visit CHBA’s national blog to check out the stories.
